The fingerprint is published to the Decentralized Knowledge Graph and anchored on-chain, where source, lineage and provenance stay attached to the record.
Checkable by anyone, forever
We re-hash the file you drop in and look for the match. Change a single byte and it fails.
Why the Decentralized Knowledge Graph
Context is power. Context shared is power multiplied. The DKG gives context three places to live: Working Memory for private drafts, Shared Memory where context compounds as more agents contribute, and Verifiable Memory where source, lineage and provenance stay attached so the record cannot drift.
Guardian uses all three — an investigation starts private, case context is shared and refined, and the finished proof goes to Verifiable Memory where anyone can check the path behind it. That last layer is the one this page reads from: source → lineage → provenance. It is what makes a Guardian certificate forensically defensible rather than just officially formatted, and it is a first for the deepfake detection space.
